Cassandra & Gregory's Backyard Wedding & Celebration at Haus 820 in Lakeland, FL!

I was thrilled to photograph Cassandra and Gregory's recent wedding. They were married at their family's beautiful backyard in Lakeland. Their celebration continued at Lakeland's Haus 820. I always wanted to photograph at Haus 820 in downtown but never had the chance, until now! Yay! :)

Bridal Prep gives me an opportunity to get to know the bridal party a bit more and gives lots of opportunity for storytelling as Cassandra was having her hair and makeup finished. Our second photographer for that wedding, Victoria, popped in on Gregory while he and the groomsmen got ready at the Springhill Suites in Downtown Lakeland.

It was such an honor to photograph all those fantastic moments at the private home backyard. Ceremonies like this make my career as a wedding photographer in Tampa Bay a very enjoyable job. My wife Kristen was already booked for another wedding but our friend and talented harpist Rebecca Cosas delighted the audience with her beautiful harp.

Cassandra and Gregory shared a few moments with their guests before heading to the reception at Haus 820. On the way, we stopped by Lake Mirror in Downtown Lakeland for some additional photos featuring the city in the backdrop. At the reception, the atmosphere was full of fun surprises, emotional speeches, happiness, and joy. All the moments we photographed were worth a thousand words. It was truly a special day.
