![]() Katie and Alex were planning their dream garden wedding at Sunken Gardens for a while. We were super excited to be a part of their planning as we got ready for their intimate family wedding. But, when the day came, a tropical storm put a hinder at their plans and they had to move their garden wedding indoors. Non the less, we were ready for it to make sure we helped them feel at ease and that we will be able to capture some beautiful pictures of the wedding. Sunken Gardens rightfully moved the ceremony indoors into their second floor banquet hall. The decorations were perfect and there was a nice backdrop of the gardens through their impressive, big windows. As the ceremony was getting to start, Kristen played the harp to set the mood and get everyone ready. During the ceremony, Katie and Alex filled out a Scrabble game with their names and their kids names - such a great idea! After the ceremony, we looked out and we saw there was a little break in the weather, so we headed out for some quick photos in the gardens. So glad we did! Overall, even though sometimes things may not go as planned, we are ready for any challenge that may arise and we will be there for you and help you through those challenges and still capture the loving memories. Here are some heartfelt words by Alex & Katie: "These people are superhumans!! I had no idea when we hired Jose and Kristen that they would end up being such an irreplaceable component in our wedding. Not only were they an excellent support in planning and the time leading up to the wedding but they bravely battled a tropical storm (and MANY other adversaries throughout the duration of our ceremony) right along with us. They felt like the family you’d choose... if you had a choice 😉I will be forever grateful for their teamwork, flexibility and perseverance. They saved my day!! Thank you is not enough❤️" Katie & Alex, Sunken Gardens Wedding That review made our day...maybe our year! Both very sweet people, took great photos and harp was amazing! I’d definitely recommend!" Rosaria & John, Clearwater ![]() I was privileged to photograph Rosaria and John's wedding recently. The Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa, located in Clearwater, was a perfect choice for the wedding. This was the first time I got the chance to visit Hilton Clearwater Beach as a wedding photographer, but I really loved working there and I can't wait to photograph another wedding there soon. Working with couples like Rosaria and John, photographing the magic moments of their day in venues like this, remind of how lucky I am as a wedding photographer. I always start the day by photographing the bride getting ready. Rosaria began her preparations at Hibiscus Spa of Clearwater. She had her hair and makeup finished and I photographed the story as it developed. As John was getting ready, I decided to focus on his story and the moments shared with his friends and family. The wedding ceremony was initially scheduled for a sunset beach ceremony, but the rain had it moved inside at one of their banquet halls. Even with the rain cancelling the beach ceremony, we sneaked out while the rain was gone for a few minutes to take a few sunset photos! The reception was decorated beautifully and was the perfect spot for the newlyweds to welcome their guests. There was a feeling of happiness and joy in the air as everyone enjoyed themselves. I started photographing the story unfolding as the guests relaxed and mingled. A delicious dinner was served and once people had finished, everyone got ready to hear the speeches. Every speech is unique and I never get bored of photographing them. Once the evening began the guests had a great time dancing to the tunes of a live band. What a way to end the day. All in all I had a blast at Rosaria and John's wedding and I felt buzzing by the time I left. Take a peek below at some of the photographs from Rosaria and John's wedding!
