We were thrilled to photograph Tameka and Lawrence's wedding a few weeks ago. The couple celebrated their union at LeVenue in Brandon, Florida. It was the first time we photographed a wedding at LeVenue Brandon. We definitely look forward to more wedding photography there, especially since we are based from Valrico!
We started the day photographing Tameka at Hampton Inn where we get to photograph fantastic moments as the bridal party and family interact during preparations. Roni Nikol and Salon J Hair Studio did a stunning job getting Tameka ready and looking beautiful for the wedding with make up and hair. The air at Hampton Inn was filled with excitement as Lawrence and his groomsmen prepared themselves for the day. The ceremony took place among family and friends at the ceremony area of LeVenue Brandon. It was truly fantastic to see Tameka and Lawrence cementing their partnership by exchanging rings and saying their vows. Ceremonies like this make my career as a wedding photographer in a very enjoyable job. During the wedding reception we photographed some portraits and formal photographs. There was an assortment of drinks for guest to choose while the amazing DJ Bo Weezy got the crowd jumping! Chasing each special moment is our mission as wedding Photographers. All in all we had a blast at Tameka and Lawrence's wedding and we wish them heartfelt congratulations. Thank you and enjoy some of the photos from their wedding below! Combine that with superb photos and you have the MOST memorable event for yourselves and guests." A few weeks ago we photographed the wedding of Mary and Bruce. The wedding took place at Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay in Tampa, Florida. Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay is an exciting place to photograph a wedding, I look forward to more wedding photography there. It is a delight to work as a wedding photographer in such fantastic venues with so many different options to photograph our couples, as you may have also seen from their engagement photo session there.
Mary and Bruce chose the Grand Hyatt to get ready on the morning of their wedding. Mary had her hair and makeup finished as I photographed the moments she had getting ready with her bridesmaids. Grand Hyatt was a perfect place for the Bruce to prepare for his big day. Kristen took the groom and groomsmen outside for their photos. The ceremony took place at Wilson's Plower North on the 14th floor. Kristen welcomed the guests with the sounds of her harp as she played music for them. I could hear the guests talking about how soothing and beautiful it sounded, many have never seen a concert harp before! As the ceremony started taking place, both Mary and Bruce look STUNNING! The wedding officiant, Glen Hunter, amazed all of us as he sang Hallelujah midway through the ceremony. It was something so amazing that I've never experienced on our weddings! The reception was held at Armani's, it was decorated beautifully and was the perfect spot for the newlyweds to welcome their guests. Everyone was in a celebratory mood and was having fun while enjoying the stunning views of Tampa Bay. I mingled around the wedding party photographing the guests candidly while they enjoyed their drinks. Weddings like Mary and Bruce's make my job as a wedding photographer a pleasure and it was a joy to share it with them. Take a peek at the slideshow above and some additional photos below. If you are looking for a wedding photographer or harpist in the Tampa Bay Area, contact us today! Big wedding, or small intimate wedding...we want to be a part of your wedding! :) Photographing Tessa and Harry's big day was a fun affair. The couple celebrated their intimate wedding at Reunion Resort in Kissimmee, FL. This was our first experience photographing a wedding at Reunion Resort and it was very enjoyable. We love working at places with a fresh perspective.
Reunion Resort is also the location where Tessa & Harry began getting ready for the wedding. Tessa had her hair and makeup finished and I photographed the story as it developed. Harry was at another room making himself look very dapper, donning his suit and applying the final touches while Kristen photographed the moments. Tessa and Harry decided to celebrate their wedding at Linear Park, on the grounds of the Reunion Resort. Friends and family were deeply touched when the newlyweds said their vows to the sounds of the harp as it was played by Kristen. It is always an honor to cover a wedding ceremony of a fantastic couple like this one! It is a delight to photograph small, intimate weddings. It was a bright and sunny day, which lit up the venue nicely, and really brought out the colors in the photographs. You couldn't wish for a more perfect day for Tessa and Harry and I wish them all the best. Take a peek at some of the images from their wedding below and on the slideshow above. Erin and Kris loved a gallery from a prior session I photographed at Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales, Florida and they fell in love with the architecture and the scenic backdrops that Bok Tower Gardens could offer for their engagement photo session. With that in mind, we set up a date and planned our epic engagement session! Bok Tower Gardens offers such a diverse number of locations for photographs, but I narrowed it down to my favorites here. Normally we would meet at the Visitor Center and then walk over to the Pinewood Estate. First location is on the way to the Pinewood Estate, where there are tons of opportunities to stop and take some pictures in the beautiful gardens area. Second is at the actual Pinewood Estate, where the possibilities are endless! We normally start on the left side and walk around the grounds taking pictures at different areas until we get to their iconic octagon water fountain garden. Then, we would make our way back to the tower. The third location is at the actual Bok Tower. Once again, there's so many hidden places on the way so make sure to keep your eyes open! The tower also makes an amazing backdrop for engagement photos. We had to skip the tower for Erin and Kris' session due to the fast approaching rain, so we decided to go to our last favorite location at the gardens. The fourth location is on the grassy hiking trails by the entrance. This area is amazing due to the diverse look of hills that we normally don't get in Florida. Plus, it's perfect for sunset since the sun normally sets with the tower in the background. For this shoot we had some epic clouds due to a storm that was coming in. I had a BLAST photographing Erin and Kris and can't wait for their upcoming wedding later this year, we have some plans for some epic pictures and it's going to be amazing! Take a peek at some more pictures of their Bok Tower Gardens engagement session below for additional ideas!
If you need a wedding photographer or harpist in the Tampa Bay area, we would love to be considered! Contact us and tell us about your wedding...big or small, we want to be a part of it! :) Taneha and James love the beach and after looking at some beach location options, they wanted to have their engagement session in Anna Maria Island. Having done some engagement photos in Anna Maria Island before, I knew of a secret spot that I love and it's my go to location for sunset beach engagement photos in Anna Maria. That location is...Bean Point! What I love about Bean Point is that is not located in the main beach area, so there's a lot less people at the beach, making it way easier for photos. Normally we park between North Shore Drive and North Bay Drive where there is a public beach entrance. That public beach entrance is great because there are some beautiful trees and a wall with greenery that we normally stop by to take some photos before getting to the beach. Once we get to the beach we are welcomed by some really cool grassy sand dunes, which gives us the option for more diverse backdrop to the beach photos. Since it rained the day before, we had tons of puddles in the area which made for some awesome reflection photos! Then we head to the water to finish up with the sunset photos. The sunset here is just PERFECT! One thing to keep in mind about this location is that there are no public restrooms and parking is kind of limited. Other than that, I love this location for beach sunset engagement photos in Anna Maria Island! We had such a great time and I can't wait for their wedding day coming up! Take a peek at some of the photos from Taneha & James to get some ideas!
