About Jose & Kristen Hoyos - Photo Harp Weddings Photographer and Harpist in Tampa Bay

Hi!   My name is Jose Alexis Hoyos, husband, and dad to 5 amazing kids.  I am a published portrait artist (Cover of American Iron's Garage Builder Magazine, Portraiture Magazine, Harp Column Magazine, GEICO, City of Lakeland, Werble, Pixlr, and many others) with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southeastern University (Lakeland) based out of the Tampa Bay area in Florida.  Since a young age, I've enjoyed the artistry of photography.  I have a passion for creating unique photographic composition and art, which draws attention to details that most people may overlook.  I love being able to capture all the unique and precious moments for people...images that are developed into a lifetime of memories!  I expect excellence in my work, and I will deliver the best, not only in the photographic art, but in the experience. Hello! My name is Kristen Elizabeth Hoyos, wife, mother, professional harpist, teacher, author, and photographer (whew! that's a lot of hats! lol wait...did I mention actress?) based out of the beautiful Tampa Bay area in Florida.  I attended Howard W. Blake School of the Performing Arts and graduated from the University of South Florida in Tampa.

I grew up in a family of musicians, so I learned to play the piano at a very early age.  As I got older, I also learned the guitar, violin, and my favorite, the harp.  Ever since I first plucked a string of the concert grand pedal harp, I was in love and have since then dedicated over 18 years to this enchanting instrument.  I'm very passionate about music and my family; and I let that passion carry over to the people and events I play for!
