We were thrilled to photograph Tameka and Lawrence's wedding a few weeks ago. The couple celebrated their union at LeVenue in Brandon, Florida. It was the first time we photographed a wedding at LeVenue Brandon. We definitely look forward to more wedding photography there, especially since we are based from Valrico!
We started the day photographing Tameka at Hampton Inn where we get to photograph fantastic moments as the bridal party and family interact during preparations. Roni Nikol and Salon J Hair Studio did a stunning job getting Tameka ready and looking beautiful for the wedding with make up and hair. The air at Hampton Inn was filled with excitement as Lawrence and his groomsmen prepared themselves for the day. The ceremony took place among family and friends at the ceremony area of LeVenue Brandon. It was truly fantastic to see Tameka and Lawrence cementing their partnership by exchanging rings and saying their vows. Ceremonies like this make my career as a wedding photographer in a very enjoyable job. During the wedding reception we photographed some portraits and formal photographs. There was an assortment of drinks for guest to choose while the amazing DJ Bo Weezy got the crowd jumping! Chasing each special moment is our mission as wedding Photographers. All in all we had a blast at Tameka and Lawrence's wedding and we wish them heartfelt congratulations. Thank you and enjoy some of the photos from their wedding below! Combine that with superb photos and you have the MOST memorable event for yourselves and guests." A few weeks ago we photographed the wedding of Mary and Bruce. The wedding took place at Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay in Tampa, Florida. Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay is an exciting place to photograph a wedding, I look forward to more wedding photography there. It is a delight to work as a wedding photographer in such fantastic venues with so many different options to photograph our couples, as you may have also seen from their engagement photo session there.
Mary and Bruce chose the Grand Hyatt to get ready on the morning of their wedding. Mary had her hair and makeup finished as I photographed the moments she had getting ready with her bridesmaids. Grand Hyatt was a perfect place for the Bruce to prepare for his big day. Kristen took the groom and groomsmen outside for their photos. The ceremony took place at Wilson's Plower North on the 14th floor. Kristen welcomed the guests with the sounds of her harp as she played music for them. I could hear the guests talking about how soothing and beautiful it sounded, many have never seen a concert harp before! As the ceremony started taking place, both Mary and Bruce look STUNNING! The wedding officiant, Glen Hunter, amazed all of us as he sang Hallelujah midway through the ceremony. It was something so amazing that I've never experienced on our weddings! The reception was held at Armani's, it was decorated beautifully and was the perfect spot for the newlyweds to welcome their guests. Everyone was in a celebratory mood and was having fun while enjoying the stunning views of Tampa Bay. I mingled around the wedding party photographing the guests candidly while they enjoyed their drinks. Weddings like Mary and Bruce's make my job as a wedding photographer a pleasure and it was a joy to share it with them. Take a peek at the slideshow above and some additional photos below. Big wedding, or small intimate wedding...we want to be a part of your wedding! :) Photographing Tessa and Harry's big day was a fun affair. The couple celebrated their intimate wedding at Reunion Resort in Kissimmee, FL. This was our first experience photographing a wedding at Reunion Resort and it was very enjoyable. We love working at places with a fresh perspective.
Reunion Resort is also the location where Tessa & Harry began getting ready for the wedding. Tessa had her hair and makeup finished and I photographed the story as it developed. Harry was at another room making himself look very dapper, donning his suit and applying the final touches while Kristen photographed the moments. Tessa and Harry decided to celebrate their wedding at Linear Park, on the grounds of the Reunion Resort. Friends and family were deeply touched when the newlyweds said their vows to the sounds of the harp as it was played by Kristen. It is always an honor to cover a wedding ceremony of a fantastic couple like this one! It is a delight to photograph small, intimate weddings. It was a bright and sunny day, which lit up the venue nicely, and really brought out the colors in the photographs. You couldn't wish for a more perfect day for Tessa and Harry and I wish them all the best. Take a peek at some of the images from their wedding below and on the slideshow above. A few weeks ago I was at Shayla and Preston's fantastic wedding ceremony. They took their vows at Cross Creek Ranch in Dover, Florida. I was thrilled to photograph a wedding at Cross Creek Ranch. It is an excellent location for weddings, I hope to come back soon. Being a wedding photographer in offers great opportunities to work with lovely couples like Shayla and Preston in fantastic locations like this one. Shayla got ready at Main House on the morning of the wedding. I really enjoy photographing bridal prep as it gives you a chance to get to know the bridal party a little better. For this wedding, my friend Andrea Jackson from New Ground Photography helped me out as a second photographer and popped in on Preston while he got ready at Groom's Cottage. Shayla and Preston tied the knot at Enchanted Forest and it was a emotional ceremony among family and friends. During the wedding reception we photographed some portraits and formal photographs. It was a lovely atmosphere and everyone really enjoyed themselves. Photographing the reception was interesting and heartwarming. So many moments were caught! This was a fantastic Spring wedding and we made sure we got some lovely portraits at the venue. There was a lot of cloud about on the day, but clouds create the softest light, and that really helps create flattering photographs. I really enjoyed photographing Shayla and Preston's special day and I'm sure they will be really happy together. Take a peek below at some of the images from their wedding at Cross Creek Ranch! If you are looking for a wedding photographer for your wedding at Cross Creek Ranch in Dover, contact us! We would love to be a part of your wedding day :) Photographing Alison and Bryan's big day was so much fun! Alyson and Bryan decided to have a non traditional wedding and when they told me about their plans I was more than excited since it's something we don't get to experience of photograph often! They held their wedding at Ulele, located in Downtown Tampa. It was the first time I photographed a wedding at Ulele, it's a great venue right by Tampa's Riverwalk that allowed me to bring the best of each moment.
I started the day photographing Alison at The Barrymore Hotel. I photographed her having her hair and makeup applied and getting the final stages of her preparation. It was so cool seeing all the details of this renaissance type of wedding with hand crafted medieval jewelry and dresses. Once we got to Ulele, friends and family looked on as Alison and Bryan exchanged rings in a fantastic ceremony right on the riverfront while my wife played their favorite tunes on her harp! Ulele was decorated beautifully based on Alison and Bryan's love for role playing games, cosplay, and medieval/renaissance. The guests were chatting happily, as they enjoyed drinks of their choice while I was still on the lookout to catch fantastic moments on camera. Alison and Bryan created a fantastic day and it was a joy to share it with them. This unique wedding was a success thanks to the amazing work of Rachel Dummeldinger with Ardour Complete Events! We would love to be a part of your wedding day! Alexandra & Steve's Dreamy Wedding at the Knotted Roots on the Lake in Land O'Lakes, Florida3/7/2020
Alexandra and Steve had a fantastic wedding a couple of weeks ago. Knotted Roots on the Lake is located in Land O'Lakes was a perfect choice for the wedding. The day began with me photographing Alexandra while she got ready at the bridal house. I really enjoy photographing bridal prep as it gives you a chance to get to know the bridal party a little better. My wife photographed Steve's preparations over at the guys super cute vintage silver trailer. Once they were prepared, they took time to do a first look with the bridal party...Alexandra and Steve got super emotional as they saw each other for the first time. We love first looks because it gives us extra time to take additional portraits of the bride and groom, giving them more time to spend with each other later after the wedding. It was a cloudy day and it obviously had the bride and groom worried about possible rain, but the clouds eventually left and the sun came out at the same time as the bride was walking down the aisle to the romantic music of the harp..perfect timing! They spent the wedding reception mingling with their guests and enjoying the moment. As well as having a thoroughly fantastic day, it was just a joy to photograph Alexandra and Steve's wedding and I just know they will build a fantastic life together. :) Enjoy the highlight video and the images below from their wedding! If you are looking for a wedding photographer and harpist team for your wedding in the Tampa Bay Area, contact us today! It was a pleasure photographing Samantha and Scotty's wedding ceremony. They took their vows at Historic Dubsdread Ballroom in Orlando, Florida. It was such a joy to photograph a wedding at Historic Dubsdread Ballroom, and I couldn't wait to photograph there. All wedding stories begin with bridal prep and Samantha's story started at her house. She began getting her hair and make up done, those first few hours were the perfect way to start her story. Once all the prep had finished Samantha arrived at the ceremony in a limousine bus (with her bridesmaids and family) and took a deep breath as she made her way towards the venue. The ceremony was a fantastic service amongst close family and friends at Dubsdread outside terrace and Samantha and Scotty were in their element. Ceremonies like this make my career as a wedding photographer in a very enjoyable job. The reception was very warm, colorful and welcoming. The drinks flowed and the atmosphere was full of happiness and joy. I started photographing the story unfolding as the guests enjoyed the wedding and mingled. Everyone love a good fall wedding, and I'm no exception. The sun came out for the day, which was really nice to see, and it just meant everyone could get some fresh air on the day. Samantha and Scotty had scheduled speeches before the meal. Some of the best reactions are photographed whilst the speeches are being delivered...especially the speech from Samantha's dad who literally stole the show as he unraveled a long scroll when he got ready for his speech lol Everyone had a great laugh! At the end of the day, Samantha and Scotty rocked the dance floor accompanied by their guests, courtesy of the amazing team of Soundwave Entertainment DJs. You couldn't wish for a more perfect day for Samantha and Scotty! Take a peek at their wedding slideshow below and some of the photos from their day. Katie and Alex were planning their dream garden wedding at Sunken Gardens for a while. We were super excited to be a part of their planning as we got ready for their intimate family wedding. But, when the day came, a tropical storm put a hinder at their plans and they had to move their garden wedding indoors. Non the less, we were ready for it to make sure we helped them feel at ease and that we will be able to capture some beautiful pictures of the wedding. Sunken Gardens rightfully moved the ceremony indoors into their second floor banquet hall. The decorations were perfect and there was a nice backdrop of the gardens through their impressive, big windows. As the ceremony was getting to start, Kristen played the harp to set the mood and get everyone ready. During the ceremony, Katie and Alex filled out a Scrabble game with their names and their kids names - such a great idea! After the ceremony, we looked out and we saw there was a little break in the weather, so we headed out for some quick photos in the gardens. So glad we did! Overall, even though sometimes things may not go as planned, we are ready for any challenge that may arise and we will be there for you and help you through those challenges and still capture the loving memories. Here are some heartfelt words by Alex & Katie: "These people are superhumans!! I had no idea when we hired Jose and Kristen that they would end up being such an irreplaceable component in our wedding. Not only were they an excellent support in planning and the time leading up to the wedding but they bravely battled a tropical storm (and MANY other adversaries throughout the duration of our ceremony) right along with us. They felt like the family you’d choose... if you had a choice 😉I will be forever grateful for their teamwork, flexibility and perseverance. They saved my day!! Thank you is not enough❤️" Katie & Alex, Sunken Gardens Wedding That review made our day...maybe our year!
