Christa and Anthony chose Nova 535 in St. Petersburg, a fantastic historic and industrial style event venue to celebrate their wedding. It was the first time I photographed a wedding at Nova 535, photographing at NOVA 535 brought out the artist in me so seamlessly.
Rebecca and Gosbani had a fantastic wedding recently. The venue they chose for their wedding was The Club at Eaglebrooke in Lakeland, Florida. It's always a joy going back to The Club at Eaglebrooke to photograph weddings, having your wedding at this venue is always a magical experience. Wedding photography is a very fulfilling job when working with great couples in such great Lakeland locations.
THE ENGAGEMENT SESH! This is one of my favorite times with our couples. Why? Because we get to make and capture some amazing memories at an epic location in Tampa Bay! Think about it...you will be married for a long time (well...hopefully haha), but you are only engaged for a very short period of time. So the engagement photos are a very important part of the memories! As we start the engagement session planning, one of the most common questions we get is....what should we wear for the engagement photos? So...how many hours of wedding photography should you have for your wedding? That's a good question! As a wedding photographer in the Tampa Bay area, I've been part of many weddings and if there is one thing that all weddings have in common is that NO WEDDING IS THE SAME! :) For that reason, we don't offer wedding photography packages to make couples fit their wedding plans to us...INSTEAD, we rather fit our services to our couples, so we offer our wedding photography via an interactive online quote where you pick the hours based on your wedding needs!
With that said, we wanted to share on this informational blog post a helpful summary of approximately how many hours of wedding photography you may need for your wedding. BUT before you keep reading, one thing I will say which applies to all weddings is....the more wedding photography hours you have, the more flexibility you'll have to get the photos YOU want! So, keep that in mind as you read though these times below: Keila and Obniel contracted me to photograph their wedding celebration that took place at the stunning Crystal Ballroom Sunset Harbor in the city of Daytona Beach. Crystal Ballroom Sunset Harbor is a fantastic location that I always wanted to photograph, as it is probably one of the most stunning Crystal Ballrooms that I've visited. I am very blessed to work in such fantastic locations as a wedding photographer.
Should I hire a wedding planner? One of the biggest decisions you will need to make for your wedding is whether to hire or not to hire a wedding planner. As a wedding photographer and harpist for weddings in the Tampa Bay area, we have experienced many weddings with planners and without planners. From our perspective, we think you should! But why?! We asked our friend Lora Gardner, a certified wedding planner and owner of Perfect Day Productions based out of Lakeland, Florida to share with us the top five reasons why you should hire a wedding planner:
Covering Rachel and Leo's micro wedding was a real privilege as a wedding photographer. They picked a fantastic venue to get married in...their private home in Riverview, Florida. Being a wedding photographer in Tampa Bay offers great opportunities to work with lovely couples like Rachel and Leo!
Photographing JamieClaire and Michael's intimate wedding was one of the highlights of this past holiday season. They were married at a private home in Seninole Heights, a picturesque historic neighborhood in Tampa. It was a dream come true to photograph an elopement wedding at such a beautiful historic home.
