Pier 22 is the location where Alexandra finalized getting ready for the wedding. I photographed Alexandra as she had her hair and makeup done. The air at Pier 22 was filled with excitement when Charlie arrived with the groomsmen. Alexandra and Charlie tied the knot at Waterside Terrace and it was a emotional ceremony among family and friends as my wife played the harp. I get to listen to and cover some incredible stories of couples when photographing wedding ceremonies in the Tampa Bay area. Totally love what I do! The couple spent the wedding reception mingling with their guests. All the guests were cheerful and you could feel the joyful atmosphere at the reception. So I waited for the perfect timing to photograph as many moments as I could. It was a long time in the planning but Alexandra and Charlie pulled off a fantastic wedding and I felt buzzing by the time I left. Check out the slideshow with some of the photos from the wedding below. If you are looking for a wedding photographer and harpist in the Bradenton and Sarasota area, look no further! The church's decor and natural light was a fresh inspiration for photography. It is a delight to work as a wedding photographer in such beautiful churches filled with history and beauty. When Kristin arrived at the wedding venue, Jason was already waiting inside. The ceremony celebrated at United Methodist Church was fantastic, the photographs I took of it definitely have a "love is in the air" vibe to them. Kristin and Jason interacted freely with the guest at the reception venue, which was held at the University Park Country Club in Sarasota. The atmosphere at the reception was perfect for entertaining the guests. I began searching for moments that would help to tell the story of the day. Everyone loves a good fall wedding, and I'm no exception. It was a lovely sunny day, which was really nice to see, and made the photographs really sing. All the guests were keen not to miss the speeches. The speeches are a great part of the wedding and a joy to photograph as a wedding photographer. The evening began and the DJ definitely pulled it off, the wedding floor got crowded while the newlyweds were showing off their best moves. Thank you Kristin and Jason for letting me be a part of your day and thank you so much for the sweet words you left for us on WeddingWire! Enjoy some of the photos and video slideshow of their day below. If you are looking for a professional wedding photographer in the Sarasota or Bradenton Florida area, we can help! But Photo Harp was hands down the easiest and most efficient vendor we had! From even the early days of emailing, he would always respond within the hour, usually in a few minutes. He answered my laundry list of questions, was flexible with the package we chose, and was able to capture some amazing moments. He was a joy to work with on the big day and we will cherish these photos for the rest of our lives! They are so stunning, some look like magazine editorials, some are traditional family portraits. A wonderful mix! Also, he has a tremendous gift for capturing those candid moments - those might be our favorite photos! Thanks again!" - Kristin
Kayla and Kenny chose to get married at Phillippi Estate Park in Sarasota. It was my first visit to Phillippi Estate Park as a wedding photographer, it's a stylish venue that allowed me to bring the best of each moment.
One of my favorite moments of the day was when I was photographing Kayla getting ready at Edson Keith Mansion. I captured Kayla as she had her hair and makeup done. It was a perfect afternoon to photograph Kenny getting ready with his friends for the wedding. Kayla and Kenny cemented their union in a very lovely ceremony at Phillippi Estate Park grounds just outside the mansion. My wife added the touch of romance for the ceremony with the sounds of the harp. I couldn't ask for a better job than being a Tampa Bay area wedding photographer and ceremonies like this one remind me why I do what I do. After the ceremony the wedding party enjoyed a lovely reception at Edson Keith Mansion. The venue served drinks and everyone had an incredible time. I began searching for moments that would help to tell the story of the day. Spring weddings let me get the best of each moment. It was a mainly cloudy day, making the light very soft, which is a godsend for a photographer. There was some rain later in the evening, which it means good luck! Kayla and Kenny decided to have the speeches before the meal, so everybody sat down after the reception and awaited the speakers. You hear so many speeches doing this job, but they are always different. The only left to do was to get everyone on the dance floor and rock out to the tunes coming from the DJ! It was a long time in the planning but Kayla and Kenny pulled off an incredible wedding and I hope they have a happy life together. Check out some photos and a video courtesy of Rod Baker Video.
